For Homeowners:

As of July 1, 2023, the State of Michigan will be enforcing the building code in Baraga Township for all new permits issued. Before a building permit will be issued by the State, the property owner will need to apply for a Zoning Compliance Permit from the Township of Baraga, to ensure that the project aligns with the Zoning Ordinance of Baraga Township.
